Poolside Mischief
Poolside Mischief
Some childhood summers had a pretty simple schedule:
Swim. Snack. Get yelled at for running. Repeat.
This playful poolside scene takes us back to those long, chlorine-scented summer afternoons when the concrete was hot, the towels were permanently wet, and somehow nobody was ever ready to go home.
Two boys are caught in one of those laughing-so-hard-you-can’t-explain-it moments while life at the neighborhood pool carries on behind them. The grown-ups are relaxing, the pool rules are posted, and the kids appear to be paying attention to approximately none of it.
This piece is Tang’s Frames’ nostalgic take on a familiar bit of visual humor, reimagined with new characters, added details, and a vintage-postcard feel.
Because nostalgia doesn’t always have to be serious. Sometimes it’s remembering being a kid, barefoot by the pool, laughing at something completely ridiculous—and thinking it was the funniest thing that had ever happened.
Displayed in a gold-tone frame with a crisp white mat and glass front, it’s a fun little conversation piece for a desk, shelf, pool house, summer home, or anyone who remembers when summer vacation felt like it lasted forever.
